Estate Grown | 100% Arandell – Briede Vineyards Bottled on 6/28/24
A standout vintage for Arandell, the 2023 Special Reserve showcases the variety at its most refined and expressive. Produced entirely from estate-grown fruit and aged predominantly in new French oak, this limited bottling (only 72 cases) demonstrates remarkable balance, depth, and polish.
A warm fermentation and generous oak aging lend this wine a round, layered texture that beautifully complements Arandell’s naturally bright acidity. Free of the green tones sometimes found in the varietal, this vintage emphasizes fruit purity and richness. Blueberry, stewed cherry, and vanilla notes weave together harmoniously, delivering a red that is both vibrant and luxurious.
